The state of Wisconsin has excellent wind resources that could power thousands of homes each year and make a significant impact on reducing carbon emissions. There are currently 10 wind projects generating energy in the state, but the potential is far greater. By supporting wind energy projects, you are supporting improvements to local schools, public services, infrastructure, public spaces, and more.

Wind energy currently accounts for around 3% of the state’s total net electricity generation.

The significant increase in tax revenue from wind projects allows for community improvements and support for public services. Landowners benefit from stable, monthly income through land leases, which helps keep generational land in the family. Hundreds of well-paid, local jobs are created during the construction phase, and local businesses are prioritized for labor. Additionally, energy costs are reduced, and power shortages are prevented through the new energy contribution to the grid. Wind energy’s powerful impact will make a positive difference in Wisconsin’s future and ensure energy security for our modern world.
